Sunflower  Mission

Sunflower's mission is to clean up and dispose of the entire installation.  Sunflower is cleaning up the contaminated soils and groundwater under the Installation Restoration Program.  Decontamination of explosives contaminated buildings, sewers and other structures is handled under Maintenance of Inactive Industrial Facilities (MIIF).  Abatement of asbestos is also handled under MIIF.
